Meet Vikki (she/her)
A little more about me…
I earned a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre from Mountview Academy and spent over a decade performing in the West End and around the world.
Now, I work with a range of singing clients, from dedicated pre-professional and professional performers to enthusiastic amateurs with a passion for singing. My expertise lies in Vocal Technique, Vocal Health, Musical Theatre, and Pop Vocals.
I'm passionate about empowering performers to find confidence and joy in their voices. I love working with vocalists to boost their confidence, providing them with the knowledge and freedom to take control of their voices and enjoy every moment of their journey.
My training includes the Vocal Academy Singing Technique Course in Miami and Estill Singing Technique Levels 1 and 2. My approach to singing teaching is utilising a range of techniques–most importantly making it digestible, useful and functional for the individual singers I work with.
I’m currently involved in the development of Mountview Exams, an initiative by Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, which offers graded qualifications in Musical Theatre. Making the arts more accessible to the wider community, something I am greatly passionate about.
During the lockdown, I also founded Connectforce Community CIC to connect older people with performers and combat loneliness, and Get Vocal, a program designed to help young people build confidence and creativity through the arts. Over its duration, Connectforce facilitated more than 22,000 minutes of meaningful connection.
I teach from my home studio in Finchley, North London, and offer online sessions. Often accompanied by my vocal assistant, Nellie the cavapoo, my approach to teaching is designed to make each session valuable, empowering you to find confidence in your sound and enjoy the process!
